“Creature Creator” game
Perhaps it’s the thrill of actually creating something. Perhaps it’s just competitiveness. Railroad Tycoon, the Civilization series, and the Sim series (not just the Sims) have been some of the most popular games of their times.
The new game/program Spore may be the next chapter of that evolution.
